This YPC-62R is based on the YPC-62 and is optimized with elaborate craftsmanship and a wave cut conical bore head joint to yield superior tonal control. Made out of 100% wood from end to end, both the head joint and the body are carved out of solid grenadilla, lending its signature softness to the sound. The keys, posts, and rods are silver-plated and the tone holes are undercut for a natural touch, and as expected in a professional piccolo, features a split E-mechanism. This complete kit includes Yamaha's YAC PC-62 deluxe wood case, YAC 1660P aluminum cleaning rod, YAC 1007P cork grease, and polishing cloth.
