Building on Yanagisawa's reputation for outstanding ergonomics and quality, the new WO generation may well represent the most refined and centered tenor available.  With Yanagisawa's neutral ebonite mouthpiece it is neither too bright nor too dark, and enables a musician to venture into either end of the spectrum by using other mouthpieces that can brighten or darken the sound to preference, embracing a wide range of embouchures and musical genres.
