In 2015, the E13 was updated with the RC (Robert Carrée) bell for greater projection and brightness, no matter what the range or tone, and includes a fine adjustment screw for the low F key. Made of Mozambican grenadilla, this clarinet shares the technical characteristics of the professional line: silver keywork and plating, blue steel springs, screwed-in pillars, threaded screws, and natural cork lining the joints. The E13 is essentially a cost effective R13, which is carved from grenadilla with a finer grain pattern.
